|Dec. 17, 2017 5:03 PM PT6:03 PM MT7:03 PM CT8:03 PM ET1:03 GMT9:03 6:03 PM MST8:03 PM EST7:03 PM CT5:03 UAE (+1)20:03 ETNaN: - Eli Manning was 37 of 57 for 434 yards and threw three touchdown passes Sunday in the New York Giants' 34-29 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. He threw one interception, didn't fumble and was sacked one time.
Analysis: At the very least, Manning showed he's still the best quarterback on the Giants' roster by recording his first three-TD effort since Week 3 and his highest yardage total since 2015. The 36-year-old didn't throw for more than 228 yards in any of his previous three games and had only one touchdown during that stretch, so a repeat performance next week against the Cardinals doesn't seem too likely.
|Dec. 11, 2017 2:01 PM PT3:01 PM MT4:01 PM CT5:01 PM ET22:01 GMT6:01 3:01 PM MST5:01 PM EST4:01 PM CT2:01 UAE (+1)17:01 ETNaN: - The New York Giants are sticking with Eli Manning. A day after saying he wasn't sure who would start against the NFC East champion Philadelphia Eagles, interim coach Steve Spagnuolo on Monday left no doubt that the two-time Super Bowl MVP would be his quarterback Sunday at MetLife Stadium.
Analysis: Manning returned to the starting lineup on Sunday and hit 31 of 46 passes for 228 yards and a touchdown in a 30-10 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. He threw two late interceptions in a game that was tied 10-10 halfway through the fourth quarter. Both came after the Cowboys opened a 23-10 lead.
|Dec. 10, 2017 2:29 PM PT3:29 PM MT4:29 PM CT5:29 PM ET22:29 GMT6:29 3:29 PM MST5:29 PM EST4:29 PM CT2:29 UAE (+1)17:29 ETNaN: - Eli Manning was 31 of 46 for 228 yards and threw one touchdown pass Sunday in the New York Giants' 30-10 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. He threw two interceptions, didn't fumble and was not sacked.
Analysis: Manning got a standing ovation taking the field in his return to the starting lineup but had another subpar showing, producing a 68.0 QB rating.
|Dec. 4, 2017 10:35 AM PT11:35 AM MT12:35 PM CT1:35 PM ET18:35 GMT2:35 11:35 AM MST1:35 PM EST12:35 PM CT22:35 UAE13:35 ETNaN: - Manning will return to the starting role for Sunday's game against the Cowboys after a one-week benching.
Analysis: The Giants fired second-year head coach Ben McAdoo in a housecleaning move on Monday morning so now Manning is back in the fold to start. Manning had started 210 straight games for the Giants before McAdoo decided last week to go with Geno Smith at QB instead.
|Nov. 28, 2017 11:54 AM PT12:54 PM MT1:54 PM CT2:54 PM ET19:54 GMT3:54 12:54 PM MST2:54 PM EST1:54 PM CT23:54 UAE14:54 ETNaN: - Manning won't start Sunday against the Raiders, ending his run of 210 consecutive regular-season games, the second-longest streak by a quarterback in NFL history, behind Brett Favre's 297.
Analysis: Manning was given the option of starting against the Raiders to keep the streak alive, but declined. The Giants will start Geno Smith and also look at Davis Webb over the final five games. It's very likely that Manning has taken his last snap with the franchise he quarterbacked to two Super Bowls.
|Nov. 23, 2017 8:07 PM PT9:07 PM MT10:07 PM CT11:07 PM ET4:07 GMT12:07 9:07 PM MST11:07 PM EST10:07 PM CT8:07 UAE23:07 ETNaN: - Eli Manning was 13 of 27 for 113 yards and didn't throw a touchdown pass Thursday in the New York Giants' 20-10 loss to the Washington Redskins. He threw one interception, didn't fumble and was sacked four times.
Analysis: There was just nothing good about this performance. Manning completed 13 passes for his second-lowest total of the season and his 113 yards was one of the worst numbers of his long career. Manning has just one 300-yard game this season - back in Week 3 - and could throw less than 20 touchdowns for just the second time in a full season. Ouch.
|Nov. 19, 2017 4:23 PM PT5:23 PM MT6:23 PM CT7:23 PM ET0:23 GMT8:23 5:23 PM MST7:23 PM EST6:23 PM CT4:23 UAE (+1)19:23 ETNaN: - Eli Manning was 19 of 35 for 205 yards and didn't throw a touchdown pass Sunday in the New York Giants' 12-9 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. He did not throw an interception, didn't fumble and was not sacked. Manning added five rushing yards on two carries.
Analysis: Manning averaged just 5.86 yards per attempt and failed to throw a TD pass for the first time since Week 1. Manning and the Giants now have a quick turnaround with a Thanksgiving night game against the Redskins.
|Nov. 12, 2017 6:29 PM PT7:29 PM MT8:29 PM CT9:29 PM ET2:29 GMT10:29 7:29 PM MST9:29 PM EST8:29 PM CT6:29 UAE (+1)21:29 ETNaN: - Eli Manning was 28 of 37 for 273 yards and threw two touchdown passes Sunday in the New York Giants' 31-21 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. He did not throw an interception, fumbled once and was sacked three times.
Analysis: Manning was able to produce his highest yardage total since Week 4, a positive sign after he averaged a meager 176.8 yards through the air over the Giants' previous four games. While 300-yard efforts are going to be few and far between considering the decimated state of New York's receiving corps, the aging quarterback has thrown for 13 touchdowns against just four interceptions over his last seven outings.
|Nov. 5, 2017 1:40 PM PT2:40 PM MT3:40 PM CT4:40 PM ET21:40 GMT5:40 2:40 PM MST4:40 PM EST3:40 PM CT1:40 UAE (+1)16:40 ETNaN: - Eli Manning was 20 of 36 for 220 yards and threw two touchdown passes Sunday in the New York Giants' 51-17 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. He threw one interception, fumbled once and was sacked two times.
Analysis: Manning doesn't have a lot of help in the backfield or out wide, so all things considered, this was a good statistical effort.
|Oct. 23, 2017 12:35 PM PT1:35 PM MT2:35 PM CT3:35 PM ET19:35 GMT3:35 12:35 PM MST2:35 PM EST2:35 PM CT23:35 UAE15:35 ETNaN: - Ben McAdoo is sticking with Eli Manning as the New York Giants' quarterback in what has become a frustrating, lost season.
Analysis: McAdoo made it clear Monday that the Giants' 1-6 record is not grounds for handing the quarterback job to third-round draft pick Davis Webb so the team can evaluate him in regular-season action. There is no question the offense has struggled as it heads into a bye week. It has scored 112 points, which is the fifth fewest in the league.
|Oct. 22, 2017 5:39 PM PT6:39 PM MT7:39 PM CT8:39 PM ET0:39 GMT8:39 5:39 PM MST7:39 PM EST7:39 PM CT4:39 UAE (+1)20:39 ETNaN: - Eli Manning was 19 of 39 for 134 yards and threw one touchdown pass Sunday in the New York Giants' 24-7 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. He did not throw an interception, fumbled once and was sacked one time.
Analysis: Manning didn't have much of a chance going up against one of the league's best secondaries while operating with a rag-tag group of receivers. He's now been held under 150 passing yards in consecutive weeks for the first time since 2007, and his fantasy potential is practically nil due to the state of the Giants' injury-riddled offense.
|Oct. 15, 2017 8:51 PM PT9:51 PM MT10:51 PM CT11:51 PM ET3:51 GMT11:51 8:51 PM MST10:51 PM EST10:51 PM CT7:51 UAE (+1)23:51 ETNaN: - Eli Manning was 11 of 19 for 128 yards and threw one touchdown pass Sunday in the New York Giants' 23-10 win over the Denver Broncos. He did not throw an interception, didn't fumble and was sacked three times.
Analysis: Manning hasn't thrown for a ton of yardage, but he has five touchdowns and just one interception over his last over his last three games.
|Oct. 8, 2017 1:37 PM PT2:37 PM MT3:37 PM CT4:37 PM ET20:37 GMT4:37 1:37 PM MST3:37 PM EST3:37 PM CT0:37 UAE (+1)16:37 ETNaN: - Eli Manning was 21 of 36 for 225 yards and threw two touchdown passes Sunday in the New York Giants' 27-22 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. He threw one interception, fumbled once and was sacked five times.
Analysis: Manning is 0-4 against the Chargers, one of two teams he has yet to beat.
|Oct. 1, 2017 4:42 PM PT5:42 PM MT6:42 PM CT7:42 PM ET23:42 GMT7:42 4:42 PM MST6:42 PM EST6:42 PM CT3:42 UAE (+1)19:42 ETNaN: - Eli Manning was 30 of 49 for 288 yards and threw two touchdown passes Sunday in the New York Giants' 25-23 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He did not throw an interception, didn't fumble and was not sacked. Manning added 22 rushing yards on three carries and scored one touchdown on the ground.
Analysis: Though it hasn't translated into any wins, Manning has now put together back-to-back solid fantasy lines as he followed up last week's 366-yard, three-touchdown effort. With the Giants' running game still mostly non-existent, the longtime quarterback is back on the radar as a potential fantasy starter.
|Sep. 24, 2017 5:17 PM PT6:17 PM MT7:17 PM CT8:17 PM ET0:17 GMT8:17 5:17 PM MST7:17 PM EST7:17 PM CT4:17 UAE (+1)20:17 ETNaN: - Eli Manning was 35 of 47 for 366 yards and threw three touchdown passes Sunday in the New York Giants' 27-24 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. He threw two interceptions, didn't fumble and was not sacked.
Analysis: The Giants (0-3) hadn't scored 20 points in eight straight games before Manning led them to 21 in a span of 5:21. He tossed TD passes of 10 yards and 4 yards to Odell Beckham Jr. to tie it at 14. Manning then connected over the middle to Shepard, who broke a couple tackles and sprinted all the way for a 21-14 lead. Still, it's been a rough start for the 2-time Super Bowl MVP.
|Sep. 18, 2017 8:19 PM PT9:19 PM MT10:19 PM CT11:19 PM ET3:19 GMT11:19 8:19 PM MST10:19 PM EST10:19 PM CT7:19 UAE (+1)23:19 ETNaN: - Eli Manning was 22 of 32 for 239 yards and threw one touchdown pass Monday in the New York Giants' 24-10 loss to the Detroit Lions. He threw one interception, didn't fumble and was sacked five times.
Analysis: Though he didn't get much help from his problematic line, Manning missed a few throws when he did have time and generally failed to get the offense moving for a second straight week. The Giants have now been held under 20 points in eight straight games counting last year's playoff loss, and Manning has a mediocre 77.7 passer rating while throwing for just eight touchdowns during that stretch. Keep him benched for the foreseeable future.
|Sep. 11, 2017 9:05 PM PT10:05 PM MT11:05 PM CT12:05 AM ET4:05 GMT12:05 9:05 PM MST11:05 PM EST11:05 PM CT8:05 UAE0:05 ETNaN: - Manning completed 29 of 38 passes for 220 yards with no touchdowns and one interception in the Giants' 19-3 season-opening loss at Dallas.
Analysis: Odell Beckham's absence had a major impact on Manning and the Giants' offense as a whole, with much of the quarterback's numbers coming on late checkdowns with the outcome already decided. Manning should have an easier time at home against a suspect Detroit defense next week, though he'll only be on the QB1 radar if Beckham's available.
